At just 18 years old, Sergio Agustin-Joya founded Agustin Contractors and, within the first nine months of 2025, grew it from $0 to more than $100,000 in revenue. That rapid growth was driven by a marketing-first strategy: targeted local outreach, consistent social media and job-site documentation, and a referral-focused approach that turned satisfied clients into new business.

A serial entrepreneur, Sergio is also a co-founder of Joya Entertainment and brings that same creative, marketing-driven mindset to construction. While studying at the University of Maryland, he applies academic lessons in design and sustainability directly to client projects and uses real jobs as a laboratory to test better construction methods and project management workflows.
